Music Ministry

Worship is at the core of who we are at First Baptist Clifton.  We were made for worship and at FBC Clifton we take this responsibility seriously.  We intentionally view the sanctuary as a shared space, where children, youth, men and women take an active role in helping to lead our time together in worship.  Visitors will notice that it is not unusual for youth and children to be involved in taking up the offering reading scripture or sharing a testimony.

Our worship music includes everything from modern songs, to timeless hymns to global songs.  Chris's goal as music minister is to empower the congregation of FBC Clifton to engage with God in worship.  As our congregation is a growing and diverse age-group of people, to say we are "traditional" or "blended" or "contemporary" limits all we do.  We simply desire to be a family of faith that is welcoming to others, following the leading of Christ in the city of Clifton.

Bosque baptist music fest

Every year, musical groups from Bosque County Baptist Churches gather at FBC Clifton for a night of fellowship and music making.  Whether a choir, small ensemble or a solo, all are welcome to offer praise!

Adult choir

As a choir member, you have the opportunity to be part of one of our most dynamic ministries in the church. We are seeking people who have a passion for praise to come along beside us as we lead our church family.  Being a part of the choir will not only change your life, but you will be directly involved in impacting lives for the glory of God. The choir presents a wide variety of songs and anthems throughout the year, participates in mission trips and has a great time together!

If you love to sing and have a passion and heart for worship, you've found your place to serve! No audition is necessary! We rehearse every Sunday afternoon in the choir room, just off the sanctuary.  We'd love to have you!

Children's Choir

We take the role of children at First Baptist seriously.  When children are involved in our services, they intentionally help lead the congregation through song, scripture reading or prayer.  Making good music, learning about our faith while having a blast is just a small portion of all that's done in our children's choir.  We rehearse from 6:45-7:30 on Wednesday nights in the choir room.
