Welcome

Whether you have grown up in church your entire life, or this is your first time considering church, we welcome you to join our community of faith and fellowship. No matter what stage of life you are in - single, married, with/without children, in a mess, or on track, we want you to know that you are valuable to God and to our community. We have a place for you to fit in, to meet new people, and to serve in ministry with us. We hope that you will visit us at FBC Clifton, and experience the love of Jesus Christ through our ministry team and our church family.

questions about

your first visit

  • What should I wear?

We believe that God cares much more about what's on the inside of a person than on outward appearances, so we hope you will dress comfortably and modestly. We also believe that our Sunday morning worship gatherings are a sacred time, so many people choose to "dress up." You will find many people in casual attire, and a few people in suits.

  • how do i get connected

The simplest way to get connected is to just show up.  Our warm community welcomes guests with a smile and handshake.  If you prefer just to sit and observe, that's fine or if you'd like to let us know of your visit you can do so here or by filling out a visitor card.  We respect your privacy and won't bother you if you don't want us to.

  • What about children?

We have a vibrant children's ministry here!  During the 11:00 service, we have a time for children (under 5 and potty trained) to go to children's church following the children's sermon. There children will have a snack and an age appropriate lesson. For babies and toddlers, we have a wonderful and secure nursery available during our services.

  • What's a typical service like?

We are a church where the entire family worships together.  So, we intentionally sing songs that are deeply meaningful to all generations.  For us, it's not about the songs we sing; it's about the community and body we are while we're singing.  Depending on the Sunday you come, we may have any of the following; children reading scripture or teaching a song to the congregation, a thoughtful testimony of God's working in someone's life, a youth instrumental ensemble, a choir anthem, hymns, modern songs or even handbells.
